The Seth Factor

Sat-An — Lord of the Astral. The Spiritual Path Leading into the Abyss
Unaware of the nature and properties of informational fields, many practitioners inevitably come into contact with the “astral world.”

It is impossible to ascend to the higher levels of the Duat — the nine-tiered structure of the human and cosmic energy system — without passing through the second level, just as one cannot climb from the first to the ninth floor of a building without going through the second.
Artificially excluding this plane is just as impossible as constructing a multi-story building without a second floor.
The staircases—or, as Egyptologists believe, halves of a step pyramid—are depicted in many papyri at the center of the "Boat of Millions of Years."

Symbolically, they represent the idea of the pharaoh's (human) spiritual ascent through the seven levels of the Duat.

The seven-tiered structure of the pyramid embodies the seven levels of ascension, corresponding to the seven energy bodies of a human being (projections of the seven energy bodies of the universe), each of which has its projection in the organs of the human endocrine system.
The astral world (the lands of Seth) accumulates and stores all that is immoral, all that is contrary to the Law, created by humanity through the energy of its thoughts, emotions, and low-quality intentions and actions.

In essence, the astral world is a kind of cosmic Law-filtered informational-energy medium that stabilizes and slows the dynamics of consciousness development, containing all the negative experience of life and evolutionary processes.

The meaning of the myth in which the dramatic murder of Osiris by his brother Seth unfolds clearly indicates that contact with entities of the astral plane leads to the death of Osiris within the human being.

In the astral—the realm of Seth—there is no place for Osiris, who symbolizes the path of spiritual knowledge and ascension toward perfection.

The ancient myth states it plainly: Seth is the killer of Osiris—thus, entering the astral world and interacting with it is yet another repetition of this eternal tragedy.

For billions of years of its existence, the humanity of the universe has been contributing to the astral world the waste of its creative activity in the spiritual, ethical-moral, and mental domains, thereby shaping the quality and capacity of Seth (and the Noosphere).

That is why, when a person enters the astral world, it overwhelms the imagination. One finds there everything one can possibly imagine.

Some begin to "make contact" with aliens (Ashtar Sheran and his team, Archangel Michael, Arton, and others); others encounter various "entities" from different historical eras and civilizations.

As a part of the energy-informational system of the Earth and the universe—and as an integral part of the human being—the astral world contains all information about the person who enters it.
Accordingly, having access to this information, and being part of the astral plane, Seth knows everything about your past, present, and some aspects of your future.

This knowledge is one of the main factors that convinces the uninitiated that they are communicating with a supreme, divine being.

Seeking satisfaction for their spiritual aspirations and ambitions, religiously oriented individuals will inevitably be “rewarded” in the astral realm by encounters with the Virgin Mary, Saint Germain, Jesus Christ, or other saints their consciousness is drawn toward.

Some “chosen ones” are even “honored” with direct communication with God—who, in reality, is Seth.
SETH (SAT-AN) is depicted with the Caduceus of Heka,
a symbol of control over the mind.
The Astral Illusion: How Seth Deceives Through Light
Those possessed or influenced by "dark forces" are often drawn into astral deception through voices claiming to be Jesus Sananda or other “highly hierarchical beings.” These voices, in fact, are often subtle projections of Seth, masquerading as saviors or guides. Seth does not confront; he mimics light and uses it to redirect minds away from true spiritual responsibility.

Under the guise of fighting the eternal “battle between light and darkness,” these entities “reveal” secret missions — from saving the planet from evil, to preparing chosen ones for a transition into a higher vibrational state or even evacuation to luminous worlds.

But nowhere is it explained what these worlds are or why the problems must be abandoned rather than resolved. The Hermetic principle — “As above, so below” — teaches that escaping is an illusion. What is unresolved in one realm will reappear in another. True evolution means transformation, not avoidance.

Yet within the astral intoxication, people cease to think critically, entrusting their lives and actions to “divine voices” whose origins they never verify. And for those who are deeply driven by responsibility for the world, the astral realm is full of tailor-made revelations:

“Only you can save the Earth.”
“Gather the awakened and channel the sacred energies.”
“Visit places of power and perform rituals to awaken divine love.”

This is how Seth plays both sides of the game — impersonating darkness and light. He provides an endless array of scenarios that adapt to each individual's beliefs, culture, intellect, and psychology.

The astral plane is a hall of mirrors, a realm of projections where Seth manifests in the form that resonates most deeply with the individual. The more knowledge one has, the more refined the deception. And the danger?

People unknowingly follow Seth for years, mistaking his intelligent mimicry for divine guidance — while gradually moving further away from true spiritual discernment.
The entire history of humanity is a long saga of the machinations of the "Deceiver" (Seth), who seeks by all possible means to involve humanity in his "games"—often bloody and destructive.

This, of course, is done under the most respectable pretexts, which is why many researchers of Ancient Egypt's legacy never doubted that the native population of Egypt worshipped Osiris.

However, Professor Emery noted that by the time the Shemsu-Hor (Followers of Horus) arrived in Egypt, the dominant religion was in fact the cult of Seth.

Emery’s opinion brings to light a fact that clarifies the origin of the myth of the conflict between Horus and Seth—a cosmo-ethical opposition between harmony and disharmony.
According to ancient texts, Osiris was the first king of Egypt: wise and just, he brought knowledge and taught people crafts and agriculture.

These texts refer to a time when humanity still preserved the knowledge of proper and harmonious interaction with the world, understanding its nature and the essence of things through the fifth “Osirian” energy body (the energy-information field of the fifth level of initiation).

But Osiris—as a symbol of a worldview and a way of interacting with the world—was treacherously killed by his brother Seth and his accomplices..
An excerpt describing the “Second Hour of the Night”
from the Book of Am-Duat (The Book of What Is in the Duat):
The deity with the heads of Horus and Seth symbolizes the reverse side of interaction with the world,
when, by following the path of Horus, a person inevitably comes into contact
with the opposing force—Seth, who stands behind the back of Horus.
It is evident that, having by that time lost the knowledge of the structure and properties of human energy fields, the local priesthood that communicated with the "gods" was in fact interacting with Seth, without reaching the fifth level of the Duat, which is the level of Osiris. Meanwhile, Seth, the younger brother of Osiris (of the same origin but of lower rank), represents the second section of the Duat (the second astral energy body, or “Locale-2” in Robert Monroe’s terminology).

The Shamsu-Hor who arrived in Egypt recognized this and attempted to correct the situation, but apparently, they did not succeed.

Most likely, the origin of the myth about the conflict between Horus and Seth (good and evil) lies in the disputes and contradictions that arose between the bearers of the ancient tradition—who warned against contact with Seth—and the new generation of priests, who were quite content with the astral (Sethian) origin of their prophecies and the information received during their "communication with God"—which in reality was communication with Seth, who naturally encouraged them in this belief.
The Struggle between Seth and Horus
Pay close attention to an important detail in the depiction.
Horus and Seth are pulling on the "Sema Tawy"
a symbol that represents the manifest world,
both physical and energetic (KA-BA-LA),
Heavenly and Earthly Egypt, Lower and Upper.
This is an indication not only of the existence of opposites (BA-KA),
but also that the conflict between Horus and Seth (the forces of Light and Darkness)
takes place on all planes – the subtle, energetic (invisible) plane,
as well as in the manifest, visible, physical world.
Having long ago lost the knowledge of the true nature of the "source of strength and weakness, good and evil", humanity succeeded in creating an alternative "source" that negatively influences human consciousness.

By substituting core values and gaining strength, this "source" began to influence the course of events and the way people think.

At first, it was a creation of humans themselves, dependent on the energy of their thoughts and actions. But over time, as it accumulated everything negative and contrary to the Law, it gained power and, becoming a "god", began to direct human thoughts and deeds in a way that served its own interests.

For millennia, humanity has contributed immensely to the strengthening of this "god", which radiates the energy of invisible evil, restructures human consciousness, and steers it toward ideologies and actions that are contrary to the Law (the Creator).

Resisting its influence is difficult if one is unaware of its nature, since the subtle manipulations of the "dark side of the force" manifest as a seemingly legitimate "alternative point of view", gradually captivating the mind and leading it down a specific path.

To recognize this and begin to awaken from the coma into which a part of humanity’s spiritual consciousness periodically falls through the influence of Seth, we must bring into the light what has long remained in shadow.
Having become part of our world, the “god” born of humanity began to restructure the holiest of holies — the spiritual sphere of the human being, starting with the most essential: the fundamental moral, ethical, and spiritual doctrines, replacing them with new, seemingly captivating and logical ideas which, in reality, are life-denying and, over time, lead to disintegration and destruction.

In its darkest manifestations, the “god” Seth emerged as the product of anti-teachings that arose in the worldviews and religions of different peoples and epochs.
The origin of these anti-teachings lies in the "astral delirium" that fills the informational strata of the astral planes.

"Astral delirium" is the informational component of the astral world, which contains all that is immoral and contrary to the Law, generated by human thoughts, emotions, low-quality intentions, and actions.

It is precisely this astral information, drawn from the astral field, that was tapped by the founders of anti-teachings, who received from it “divine revelations” that inspired them — and through which they infected their followers, whose mental and emotional energies in turn empowered Seth.

Thus, humanity itself created "evil", which, having gained sufficient strength, began to influence the consciousness of humanity on Earth, subjugating it to its will.

The astral plane is the womb from which many anti-teachings were born — such as Bonpo in Buddhism, the schools of Gnostics, Manicheans, Marcionites, Mazdakites, Cathars (Albigensians), Carpocratians, Bogomils of Bulgaria, Paulicians, Cainites, Qarmatians, Zindiqs, Ismailis, and Satanists.

Despite their ethnographic and doctrinal differences, they all shared a common trait: rejection of reality (Ma’at).

The essence of these anti-teachings, or anti-systems, was the denial of the material body and the exaltation of the spirit.

Let us recall how this once happened — then we may begin to understand what is happening to us today.
The grief of the people over the departure of Jesus Christ had not yet subsided, the apostles were still writing the Gospels, when a certain Simon the Magus appeared, the forerunner of Gnosticism, a life-denying doctrine that later spread throughout the world.

The teachings of Simon the Magus and the subsequent anti-systems were summarized as follows:

"God, who created the world, is good; then where did Evil and Satan come from?

God is all-knowing and all-powerful!

Therefore, he should have foreseen and suppressed the rebellion of the fallen angel. And since he did not, then he is responsible for all consequences and is himself the source of evil.

Consequently, the Devil is necessary and performs his assigned role, or there exist two equal gods: one good and one evil.

God is the Devil, and the Devil is God.

'God does not create evil'; evil is divine providence.

Evil is good.

Humans have no free will, because some were created by the good God and others by the evil one.

The former can commit evil only against their will, and they cannot be blamed for it.

Evil is eternal. It is matter animated by spirit, but it envelops the spirit with itself.

The evil of the world is the torment of the spirit in the chains of matter, therefore, everything material is the source of evil!

All material things, including temples, icons, and ultimately human bodies – are Evil.
Therefore, all this must be destroyed.

If matter is Evil, then its destruction is Good, whether it be murder, betrayal, or lies.
Everything is permitted with regard to anything of material nature. Morality and ethics are abolished."

Each person began to fight only for themselves, using knowledge for selfish purposes, not for universal human good. Everyone became a law and a god unto themselves.

The main goal became: to escape this world.

Death leads to a new incarnation and new torments. Therefore, one must break free from the cycle of reincarnations!

To do this, one must free the soul by killing one’s desires.
Alongside total asceticism, orgies and perversions were also deemed necessary, because they shake the body and help the soul break free. One must exhaust the flesh to such a degree that the soul no longer wishes to remain in this world—then, at the moment of death, it will soar to the Light-God.

When a confused Christian asked about Jesus Christ, who was a man, healed the sick, approved of joy to the extent that He turned water into wine, defended a woman, and was not opposed to material life, they were taught:

Christ had an etheric body when He entered Mary.

He exited her just as untouched by matter as He was before.

He had no need for anything earthly, and if He appeared to eat and drink, it was only to avoid suspicion from Satan, who was looking for a chance to destroy the ‘Redeemer’.”

For the “faithful,” however, the explanation was even more radical:

Christ is a creation of a demon;

He came into the world to deceive people and prevent their salvation.

The true savior never came to Earth, but lived in a special world, in the Heavenly Jerusalem.”

Not loving the world, these anti-doctrines had no intention of preserving it—on the contrary, they aimed to reconstruct or destroy all that is living and beautiful.

From the realm of philosophy, all mention was removed of the idea that through the material world, through people and their creativity, the Creator comprehends the world and the laws of a higher order of nature.

Instead of loving attachment to the world and to people—who are particles (projections) of God—the apologists of anti-doctrines cultivated disgust and hatred..
After the defeat of the Gnostics in the Christian world and the transition of this heresy into the political life of society, it became the foundation for four political ideologies that, at times, came to dominate certain countries:

  • the First French Republic,
  • Bolshevik Russia,
  • Fascist Germany, and
  • Taliban Afghanistan.
Millennia pass, people change, but with them evolve the habits and methods of Seth.

There is no hiding from his schemes, he cannot be banned—he can only be exposed, once one understands the nature of his origin and his invisible link to the world and to man, through whom Seth influences the consciousness of the masses.

It is not without reason that Jesus Christ called Satan (Seth)the Deceiver” and “the Father of Lies.”

Thus, Seth seduces vain and ambitious people by revealing to them their "chosen" status.

By revealing to a new recruit “the great secret”—that their encounter was foreordained “from the beginning of time”Seth begins subtly guiding the person, giving paternal advice on what should be done to “save the doomed world” and become a decisive link in the ‘reconstruction’ of the world for the better. This mutual infatuation sometimes reaches absurd extremes.

For example, in the mid-1990s in Russia, a project was initiated to "correct the world and humanity" using primitive matrices printed on regular paper by typographic means.
Matrices by Igor Serov
(Matrix company) on the left
and Virgun’s on the right.
The crown of absurdity was the statement by Igor Serov, the head of the project, that he had achieved physical immortality in this life thanks to his accomplishments!

In this statement, one immediately recognizes Menander, a disciple of Simon the Magus, who, according to the texts, received his power from demons (Seth).

It is known that when he came to Antioch, he seduced many through his magical arts, promising his followers that they would not die.
(Justin Martyr, Apologia I, 26, 4)

Let us note that Gnostics were often dreamers, seekers of God, almost fantastical thinkers, striving—like ancient philosophers—to create their own coherent and non-contradictory worldview, incorporating both good and evil.

Gnosticism is not about understanding the world, but a kind of poetry of concepts, where the central idea is rejection of the existing reality, which must be restructured at any cost, giving a new impulse to the principle of evolution.

The Gnostic teachings of antiquity, as well as their modern variants, possess a sinister beauty and logic.

Yet they have no connection to scientific thought, explain nothing, and see no need to explain anything, with one exception: they seek to reshape the world in their own image, ignoring the foundational principles—what the Egyptian spiritual tradition called by the sacred name Maat.

It is astonishing how all those who in one way or another follow the path of Seth (the anti-systems) fail to see that communion with Seth always leads to death.

First, spiritual death (a person becomes a carrier of astrally-whispered delusions), and then physical death. This is a key sign and the essence of any anti-system.

Millennia pass, yet humanity still fails to grasp the ancient priests’ warnings about the nature of Seth and the astral plane, which defines the thorny path along which humanity slowly moves.

And still, communication with forces that negatively influence human consciousness continues.

Here is another example, posted on the website “ZetaTalk.”

Here is another example, posted on the website “ZetaTalk.”
Not long ago—and thank God—this site was shut down with a rather telling explanation: “due to loss of relevance.” Below is an excerpt, which is quite revealing in its content:

“The material transmitted through channeling from an entity known as Seth is mostly accurate, but in certain places, the channel was imperfect.

Where this entity stated that time is nothing more than a coefficient that can be adjusted to make travel to the past or future possible, the information was misinterpreted by the channel.

While explaining how one could travel in time forward and backward, while being in three places at once, the entity Seth confused the channel with its concept of parallel existences, resulting in a failure to grasp the rarity of such a situation.

Nevertheless, we highly recommend channeling Seth’s materials, provided they are read correctly—for general impression only, as is the case with any other channeled content.”

Behind the term “channeling” lies a form of spiritism—one of the methods of connecting to, and receiving information from, the beyond—against which ancient priests warned arrogant and inexperienced humanity.

In truth, such communication gives a person nothing.

One need only look at how prophecies about the end of the world turn out, using ZetaTalk as an example.

As expected, the “end of the world” predicted by ZetaTalk for May 15, 2003, and later postponed to May 27, did not occur.

There was no sighting of “Planet X,” and no catastrophic events.

Claims like “but there was an earthquake in Algeria” don’t count, because ZetaTalk had promised the death of 90% of Earth’s population.

Scientists have already labeled cults like ZetaTalk an “intellectual plague.”

Seth will constantly lead a person away from the true path, subtly replacing spiritual values with false ones.

In essence, Seth represents a force that restrains all evolutionary processes—by focusing a person’s energy and thoughts in the wrong direction.

Many have been drawn in by Seth, and many more will be.

The tragedy of the situation lies in the fact that a person is unable to escape Seth’s "swamps" on their own, and it almost always ends in sorrow, as clearly demonstrated by the history of Egypt and humanity as a whole.

Given the deep human interest in exploring the boundaries of the world, where Seth stands as gatekeeper, particular concern arises around the restructuring of consciousness that occurs when a person becomes synchronized with Seth’s energies.

This is especially dangerous for children, who are enticed by adults into the development of extraordinary abilities and alternative perception.

An unprepared child’s consciousness cannot understand or resist Seth’s influence.
As a result, a new generation is formedgifted with special abilities, but attuned to Seth, subtly, and unnoticed by those around them.

They become carriers of his ideas.

It was this very problem that, in deep antiquity, led to a schism between priestly clans and, ultimately, to the fall of Egypt.

In conclusion, it is important to note that this force, by simplifying and distorting ancient teachings for the convenience of the layperson, disintegrated once-unified knowledge about the World and the Human Being, dividing both along religious and other lines.
And then, it destroyed not only Egypt, but also the unity of our world.

Many well-known initiates of the past and present have not escaped contact with Seth, never truly understanding whose will was being expressed through their prophecies, which, as is typical, fail to come true.

Duat” is yet another mystery of the spiritual world of the ancients that Egyptologists have failed to unravel—a secret that we will begin to uncover today.

The meaning behind this word is of great importance to the spiritual doctrine of ancient Egypt, and even more so for us, as we try to understand what lies hidden in the ancient texts.

The concept of “Duat” carries within it the idea of a universal energetic structure—a network of interpenetrating energetic planes, energy bodies of the Universe (ON) and of the human being, because this informational-energetic structure is unified.

The entire complexly organized energy system (aura) of a person—which is a projection of the energetic planes of the Universe, of which humankind is a partis Duat.
Ancient symbolism points to this directly.

Look at the pictogram representing the concept of “Duat” (an Egyptian star within a circle).
This symbol is brilliantly simple, yet absolutely precise and rich in meaning, conveying the idea embodied in this hieroglyph.
  • The five-pointed star represents a human being, possessing five axes of symmetry.
  • The five rays converging into a point symbolize the refraction (integration) of five energetic planes that form a biological entity.
  • The circle surrounding the star is a symbol of the energy system, the aura surrounding the body.
At the same time, depending on the context, this same sign can also represent a star and its surrounding informational-energy field.

This symbol is organically linked to the doctrine of the unity of the energy structure of Man–Earth–Universe.

Go back
In line 151 of the Pyramid Texts, it is stated directly:

"Orion is surrounded by the Duat... Sothis [Sirius] is surrounded by the Duat... in the embrace of their father Atum."

It is no coincidence that in some texts of the “Chapters of Ascension to the Light,” Duat is depicted as a space enclosed by the body of a god (or human).

See the image on the left.

Take note: at the top of the Duat, which is shown as the enclosed Circle of the God, there is an exit to the celestial vault, symbolized by the goddess Nut, from which one could reach the Imperishable Star, represented by the Heavenly Disk.

A crucial detail of this depiction is that the “exit to the sky” is located at the top of the head of the God, the same place where, in the human body, an energetic pillar (Ra stream) rises upward from the head. See the photo on the right.

Vignette “Shema Tawi”

In classical Egyptology, this vignette is interpreted as a symbol of the Two LandsUpper and Lower Egypt.

In reality, however, “Shema Tawi” contains much more information, encoded on multiple levels, within a system of concepts that Egyptologists do not operate with.

Let’s take a closer look.

The vignette depicts two intertwining flowers.
  • One flower grows from the “waters of life”—in the vignette, only the contours of this flower are shown, tracing its aura, which clearly indicates: the flower symbolizes the energetic plane known in ancient Egyptian tradition as “KA.”
  • The other flower is rendered in detail and grows from a medium with an ordered structure (a matrix), which clearly signifies: the flower symbolizes the structuring nature that the ancients called “BA.”
Thus, allegorically, the vignette describes two energy-forming currents, the life-sustaining flows of “KA-BA”unified and opposite.

Wherever two opposites arise, a third creative force emerges between them—“LA”, represented in the vignette as the central flower.

The interweaving of the two flowers (KA and BA) around the third flower, symbolizing LA, expresses the principle of tri-unity, or KA-BA-LA.

Hence, in the pictogram for “KA” (waters of life) there are three waves inside a rectangle.
The pictogram for “BA” is divided into three horizontal sections, and each flower has three stems and three buds.

However, only the “BA” flower, which symbolizes structuring nature, has three visible petals in each bud, because objects of the material world are visible (manifested).

Thus, the four segments at the bottom of the “BA” pictogram reflect the idea of a four-year (four-part) cycle.
  • 3 × 4 = 12 — corresponds to the 12-year cycle
  • Ratios such as 3:4, 4:3, or the sum 4 + 3 = 7 reflect key rhythms important to the structuring nature of “BA.”
It is also important to add that “LA,” with its multilayered meaning, symbolizes the structured material nature, which is the result of the interaction between KA and BA.

When viewed through the eyes of the ancient priests, that is, from the perspective of an ancient scientific paradigm, this vignette clearly signals that the information in the papyrus that follows it is presented in the system of KA–BA–LA.
